Why this project mattered
OMSB, established by Royal Decree to govern medical specialty standards in Oman, needed a digital platform to manage specialty training programmes, residency curriculum delivery, institutional accreditation workflows, and professional examination administration. Manual processes were creating bottlenecks and preventing OMSB from scaling its mandate nationally.

ATS developed a comprehensive Liferay DXP platform covering programme management, curriculum modules, accreditation lifecycle workflows with Kaleo-powered multi-step approvals, institutional reporting, and examination management. Liferay Forms and Objects were leveraged for dynamic data collection, while custom OSGI modules powered complex business rules specific to Omani medical regulation.
